The Quicks

Since April 2004 is our first appearance in this section of SoGospel News, I thought I would take this opportunity to introduce our family to you. The Quicks (the Gospel group) is really The Quicks - our family. This "hot-wing-eating," "classic-movie-watching," "Gospel-music-loving" family of four is Tim, his wife Sally (that's me), and two daughters - Rachel (17 almost 18) and Rebecca (14 almost 15). After spending 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, Tim retired and moved the family to Nashville in 2002. We recorded our first project with our two daughters that year with songs like "The Uniform," which I wrote for Tim's retirement, the "Mom" and "Dad" Speer classic "Won't We Be Happy in Heaven," "Hallelujah, I'm Going Home," and many more. We have just begun our next recording, with the tracking completed on March 12th. The music was fantastic and our producer Tommy Cooper is hard at work bringing it all together for us to begin vocals in a few weeks. We are so excited about this next project - the songs are really telling a story of what has been on our hearts lately. We believe we need to remind people that the Lord is going to return soon, and he will come back for those who long for his appearing. It's a Sure Thing! Till next time... The musical blend of this family is mirrored by a closeness in their daily walk with the Lord and with each other. This is a hard-working family that functions as a unit, yet is still free to express their own unique personalities. :blink: We miss Tim so much at Eglin Hospital...always a bright smile and that "Quick Wit" that kept everyone laughing. It is so good to hear that you are continuing God's work. We love you all!!

I've known the Quicks for about 15 of the 20 years Tim spent in the Air Force. They are as real as Ice Cream and Apple Pie. Send for them!!! You won't be disappointed. RonJ
