Well when I think back on the past 12 months since we started this project I see the hand of God without a doubt. He has led us through so many doors, that to the natural eye would seem to be impossible, but with his hand of favor and direction my families life has been ordered. The title to this album really says it all. ONE GOOD REASON, it is my conviction that once we as musician's and or singers loose focus of why we do what we do just BECAUSE we can do it, we have stepped into a place were God is no longer in control. This means we must depend on our strength, talent, gifts, and ability to help us through everyday life not just in ministry. Well quite frankly I do not like that position. You see I have learned in ministry that it is the ANNOINTING that lifts every burden and destroys every yoke.

When Saul needed a change in his Life he called for David to play his music, but this went a lot deeper than just David strumming his harp. What Saul did not understand was it was the Anointing on David that caused the change in his atmosphere not David's talent. This is why every time David left, the spirit Saul was facing always came back and as a result Saul never experienced the total change in his heart he was longing for. You see in order for lives to change we as singers and musicians must keep focus that JESUS truly is the ONE GOOD REASON to do the ministry we do. Whether we are in front of thousands, or just by our self, one who humbles himself and is dependant on the Holy spirit will always get JESUS to show up where ever you need him. My prayer is your spirit be st ired this year knowing you still have still have ONE GOOD REASON to keep taking one step at a time knowing God will be right there with you. May the Lord bless you and keep in all you do.

You are right on about when we lose the focus of why we are doing what we are doing. It doesn't just apply to singers and musicians, but preachers as well. I knew a preacher once, who admitted that he preached "just because he knew how to preach". He admitted to never reading the word or spending time in prayer. Doing this, we may go over big before an audience, but before God, we sound empty because we are devoid of the annointing that is necessary to get the message across.
