Congratulations to all the winners. "I Rest My Case at the Cross" by the Perrys is just a great song. Chosen Few has been my favorite group for a long time and I am so glad they have "broken through." If you aren't a Chosen Few fan, its because you haven't heard them.

Congrats David Phelps!!! I agree with all the comments regarding this phenominal talent. There has never been a first tenor EVER in southern gospel music that has the total package that this guy has. He has good annunciation, gorgeous tone, versatility & style, and unbelievable power in his upper voice registar. I'm glad to see David get the recognition from his own genre of music that contemporary music has noticed for some time now! And to all those who drag down progressive artists like GVB and as was noticed in the recent article about the Martins, I say who are we to say what means God has chosen to deliver his message. If the message of the song stayes true to the Gospel and people are being saved and drawn closer to God then you should lift these groups up, not tear them down. And if you don't believe that God is working through these groups then I would say that my salvation is living proof that God is working through these groups. keep up the good work David and GVB!!!!!!

Congratulations to all winners! I was especially glad to see "I Rest My Case At The Cross" as Song Of The Year. It is a tremendous song and one of my all-time favorites! Kyla Rowland is such a great writer and The Perrys did such a fabulous job singing this song.
