Better Late Than Never

Well, you have no doubt heard the old saying "better late than never." I guess you could say that about us getting our article in on time! We promise to do better next month. Anyway, we have successfully survived the holidays. Now that all the relatives have gone home, it's time to take down the decorations and start that "diet" that we always say we'll start tomorrow. During this season, everyone always seems to make resolutions that we intend to keep throughout the new year. However, most of us know from experience that after about two weeks into the new year those resolutions are broken and we're back doing and saying the same things that we were doing in the past. Some people say that they don't make resolutions anymore because they know they're going to blow it. Many of us have set ourselves up for disappointment many times before but don't "give up" there is some good news. Maybe we have approached this whole business of New Years' resolutions all wrong. Instead of saying" here's what I'm going to do", have you asked God what His resolutions are for you for the upcoming year? You see, what He asks you to do, He'll give you the power to do. Try it and see if it doesn't make a difference.

We will be heading to Florida soon. Go to http://www.theheralds.org to keep an eye on our schedule. Also, we are excited about a new recording that we are putting the finishing touches on.It is mostly accapella with one or two songs that have instrumental accompaniment. By the way Happy New Year! We look forward to seeing you out there on the road in 2012.
