NEWS RELEASE: (Ashland, KY) - With the recent winter storm that hit the area last week, WOKE Radio 98.3 JOYfm remains off the air due to power lines being down near the transmitter site. "JOYfm has been of the air since Sunday Feb. 16, however the electric company hopes to have us back on the air in the next couple of days", says General Manager, Garry Cohn.

"Many people have called asking about our 4th Annual JOYful Noise Concert with 'An Evening With The Crabb Family and Mike Bowling.' and I am glad to report that it is going on as planned Saturday March 15th at 7PM at the Russell High School in Russell, Kentucky just outside of Ashland", said Cohn. "We're excited about this concert. It has traditionally been one of our biggest and last year drew nearly 4000 people."
