Spring Hill Music Signs Booth Brothers
(Nashville, TN) March 18, 2003-- Spring Hill Music announces the signing of the Booth Brothers, a vocal trio that has been winning fans and gaining acclaim over the past year on the Gaither Homecoming tour and their own concert dates. The group is currently working on their Spring Hill debut, which is projected to release in late summer.
Made up of brothers Ronnie and Michael Booth and Jim Brady, the Booth Brothers' smooth harmonies and energetic performances have grown a solid fan base over the past several years. Growing up with a father who sang southern gospel music, Ronnie and Michael absorbed the harmonic tradition of the genre. At the same time, the two brothers were influenced by the country/rock music of artists like the Eagles, which has created a signature sound.
"One of the reasons we were attracted to Spring Hill Music as a label home is they have a history of working with artists who straddle several styles or genres," explains Ronnie. "We have so many influences that run through our music and Spring Hill seems very comfortable with that."
"These three guys have been doing an amazing job on the Gaither Homecoming tour over the past year. Night after night, they have the audience on its feet. We are excited that they want to take the next step in their ministry with Spring Hill as a partner and look forward to working with them," says Scott Chancey, president of Spring Hill Music Group.
The Booth Brother's project is being produced by Michael Sykes (Oak Ridge Boys, Gaither Vocal Band) and Nick Bruno (The Kingsmen, Squire Parsons). The trio has a heavy touring schedule, including both the Gaither Homecoming tour and numerous individual dates. Their website is http://www.boothbrothers.com
