The Dunaways debut single on the Family Music Group label will be sent to radio in June. The release marks a new beginning for this family trio. Although the project is as yet untitled, its anticipated arrival is generating excitement. The original songs from the pens of the Dunaways and their friend Leonard Barrier will bless fans and radio audiences alike. The Dunaways have been singing as a family group since the early 1990s, but their ministry took an unexpected turn in the mid ’90s – pastoring a church in Philadelphia, MS. During their ministry there, daughter Kanah developed into a dynamic vocalist, and she has been instrumental in taking the Dunaways to a new level as a group. Acceptance from radio for the group has been demonstrated by their appearance on Paul Heil’s “The Gospel Greats” and Solid Gospel’s “Front Porch Fellowship” hosted by Les Butler. The Southern Gospel Music Guild has also nominated the group as New Artist of the Year.
