Friday, Nov. 14, 2003 brought a night of happy tears for a precious couple and everyone that attended their beautiful wedding. Jessica Beauvais and Eddie Harrison, both of Hope's Call, were married in a touching ceremony conducted at Jessica's home church, Beacon Baptist in Taylor, MI.

The ceremony started with a recording of Eddie's mom, Debbie, and Jessica's mom, Donna (of Hope's Call) sharing letters to their children. When the moment came for the bride to be escorted down the aisle...Kevin Stokes of Daywind (and one of Hope's Call's producers) sang "Have you Ever Been in Love." As Jessica's dad gave her away...he passed a promise ring given to Jessica when she was 16 from her finger to Eddie and the ceremony began. As the couple made their way up the stairs to exchange vows, Jessica surprised Eddie with a song she wrote just for him called "I Found you." Kevin Ward (another Hope's Call producer) programmed it and Jessica recorded it weeks before the big day without Eddie ever knowing it. He was completely surprised and he was crying so much, his contact fell out of his eye in the middle of it.

During the lighting of the unity candle Kevin and Janine Stokes sang "I Have Always Loved You", penned by Stokes. It was beautiful! The ceremony was followed by a wonderful five course meal in the fellowship hall where about 370 people gathered to celebrate this match made in heaven!

The new Mr. and Mrs. Edward Harrison are honeymooning in Mexico.

Congratulations guys, especially you Eddie, traveling with you mother-in-law and all. :laugh: Eddie and Jessica are a sweet couple as well as momma Beauvais. The Pioneers had the privilege of singing with them back in July at SoGospel Convention. We love you guys. Eddie, remember, however Jessica wants to decorate the house, just let her because it's easier, trust me. :laugh:
