This is Gene Young with Lighthouse Productions and YoungSong. I would like to make you aware of a situation that we need to be helpful in.

Matthew Browder of the Browders (Southern Gospel Group) was in a traffic accident that is bringing a hardship to the family. The driver of an 18 wheeler fell asleep and ran into the back of Matthew’s car. The impact destroyed the back of the car, knocked him completely across the median on Interstate 81 close to Abingdon, VA., under another semi truck and he then smashed into an automobile.

Matthew has been in intensive care. He has a collapsed lung, broken collar bone and other injuries. The family travels singing the gospel and is a sincere ministry group. If anyone knows the Browders, they are aware that Matthew’s dad Tommy is in a wheel chair. In addition, Matthew’s brother David sings with them as well and at times I’m their mother Merita. They will not be traveling until Matthew has recovered from his injuries and this being their full time work in the service of our Lord, I believe it would be the Christian thing for all gospel artists that are aware of this situation to lend a helping hand.
