Nashville, TN-Gospel Music Legend, Dottie Rambo and Televangelist Tammy Faye Messner packed out the Gateway City Center in Hollywood, CA on August 1. This was the first joint appearance by these two legends since the PTL network.

The evening began with the pair being interviewed. Answering questions about their relationship, the friends held hands and shared stories from their past. Following the interview Rambo ministered and shared songs from her latest release "Stand By The River," as well as her classic standards. Attendees gave a standing ovation after Rambo performed "I've Never Been This Homesick Before," which she dedicated to Roe Messner.

Tammy Faye shared of her recent struggle with cancer and gave a message of hope and forgiveness. Messner sang the chorus of "This Little Light Of Mine." Paralysis of her vocal cord since her cancer diagnosis had left her unable to sing. Giving an altar call for salvation, Tammy Faye welcomed close to 20 souls to the Christ.

Following the altar service Rambo layed hands and prayed for Tammy's complete healing of cancer, and in turn Messner prayed for the healing of Dottie's spine. The two took communion with each other as the crowd wiped back tears. After communion and Dottie's prayer Tammy announced to the crowd that she believed that she was going to leave California healed of cancer.

Several film crews were on hand, including a team making a documentary on Tammy Faye's journey with cancer. The entire evening was also caught on tape for a future DVD and TV special.
