1010 the Truth WFGW Helps With Flooding Recovery Efforts
1010 the Truth WFGW has partnered with the North Carolina Baptist Men’s Disaster Relief Team to help residents of Clyde, North Carolina., affected by flooding from Hurricanes Frances and Ivan.
The outreach began with a workday shortly after Hurricane Frances. Staff members from 1010 the Truth WFGW assisted a family by clearing out flood damage from an affected home. Work included removing damaged flooring, pumping water out of the basement, and other needed work to facilitate restoration. Staff members also met with other relief teams at First Baptist Church of Clyde, North Carolina, which served as a staging area for disaster relief teams and aid distribution.
The partnership is continuing with staff members volunteering on weekends at various sites in western North Carolina.
