Jonathan White – “The Night Was Anything But Silent”

I was really disappointed that there was hardly any Christmas music sent out on radio comps this year. Phillip Emery was the only radio comp person who even thought of Christmas for the listeners. So, my hat is off to Phillip, and of course I’m using his music for one of my pics. Nobody sings Christmas music any better than Jonathan White, and his version of the great song written by Steve Cheney and the late Dan Adkins is absolutely beautiful. This cut is sure to be pleasing to the ears of your listeners as well as bless their hearts. - DJ Man Hit Singles – volume 12 – cut # 12

Safe Harbor – “I’ve Been Redeemed”

This fine young group is putting out some really nice music. This song is a good standard quartet number and they perform it with perfection. It’s pretty short though so if you’re looking for a song to fit a tight spot, take a listen to this one. I think you’ll be getting requests for more of this cut. - Eddie Crook Company – Volume 1104 – cut # 12

Southern Sound – “Jordan’s Swelling Tide”

Here’s my “sleeper of the week”. This group is not nationally known yet, but they have some of the closest harmony you will ever hear. Written by former group member Keith Harris, this song gives you that old timey quartet feel, in fact you may think “Statesmen” as you listen to this cut. After a long line of soloists and mixed groups, treat you audience to the harmonic sound of this really nice song. - Rick Hendrix Company – Volume # 30 2004 – cut # 15

Mark Lowry – “I Call Him Lord”

This is a remake of an old Dottie Rambo song, and Mark performs it with passion. LordSong is backing him on this cut so the vocal stylings are great. When you play this song, your listeners will have a chance to really worship and be uplifted. This song deserves some chart action. One thing to Heritage Communications, the Comp Disc Company, please put the song titles on the back of the case. The names of the artists are listed, but the DJ has to open the case every time he wants to see what track is playing. That’s a real pain to the DJ and poor design for a Comp Disc package. - Heritage Gold – Volume 43 – cut # 2

Deon, don't overlook the latest release by Embrace, "Blessed Shall You Be". It is just as good as their first release.
