Hoppers – “Look For Me (Around The Throne)”
Written by Landy Ewing - Geron Davis - Tim Pedigo
Done as only the Hoppers can do it, this is a remake of an old upbeat song with a little pizzazz added to it. This is a great drive time song that will help relieve the stress your listeners have just gone through after a hard days work. The message is one of hope after all the trouble of this life is over and the hope we have of seeing each other again in heaven. - Rick Hendrix Company – Volume 30 2004 – cut # 7
Triumphant Quartet (AKA Integrity Quartet) – “Terrible Time Down There”
Written by LeRoy Abernathy
Here’s an old song redone from the 50s. The track is really neat with fiddles and nice sound effects. Clayton and Scott Inman both give a real good Jake Hess feel to the song and Eric Bennett does a super job on the Bass part. Your audience will certainly enjoy this “blast from the past” feel. - Daywind Radio Disc – Volume # 58 – cut # 2
Mencer, White, and Cheney – “The Tomb Is Empty”
Written by Steven Cheney – Danny Funderburk – Eddie Carswell
Wow, when you’re looking for a strong ballad grab this cut. This is one BIG song. Big vocals, big track, big harmony, and a very big message set this song apart from the average tune played on radio. This song is great for the upcoming Easter season, but is appropriate for any time of the year. I think this song will see some chart action. - DJ Man Hit Singles - Volume # 13 – cut # 3
The Riffle Family – “There’s Been A Resurrection”
Written by Lora Riffle – Robert Riffle – Zane King
Here’s my “sleeper of the week”. When it’s time for a little country feel added to your program, give this nice tune a shot. It’s upbeat and the harmony is that of the close family type. I really like the banjo in the track. Give this group a chance and I think you will get requests to hear more of them. - Family Music Group – January 2005 – cut # 5
