McRaes Celebrate First Number One
![]() HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn.—Popular sister duo, The McRaes claimed the number one position on the Singing News National Radio Chart in December 2004 with their hit song “If It Had Not Been The Lord.” Annie and Kelly along with numerous friends and family gathered in Hendersonville, Tennessee this week for a celebration in honor of the career benchmark. The single marks the first number one for the group. “If It Had Not Been The Lord” was written by Annie and features the vocals of the sisters, along with Joyce Martin.
