HisSong Slated to Release Brand New Project
Wayne Haun signs on to produce group’s first independent project

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – HisSong, one of Southern Gospel’s most popular trios, is currently in the beginning stages of recording their fourth album, untitled as of the moment. Dove-award winning producer Wayne Haun has signed on to produce the group’s new album. Haun and HisSong were in the studio last Wednesday recording tracks.

The new album will feature songs written by such prestigious songwriters like Gerald Crabb, Joel Lindsey, Wayne Haun, and more.

“We are at a new level of ministry, and we thank God each day for what we're seeing all across this country through this ministry,” stated Dennis Humphries of HisSong. “This new project is going to be filled with songs that minister to the heart. After all, that's what it's all about. The new project contains a few songs with full orchestration, and we're very excited about that.”

Gary Winningham of HisSong says, “Over the past three years, we have seen literally hundreds of souls saved all over the country and many, many hearts and lives changed. That is why we do what we do. This is a new chapter for HisSong with the new project, and there is going to be something on the project for everyone. The songs on this project are anointed, and we know they are going to touch many hearts and change lives.”

”This has been a long time dream of ours to work with Wayne Haun on a project,” said Adam Elrod of HisSong. “I was raised with a family that loves bluegrass music, and it has been a dream of mine to sing a bluegrass song. I'm finally getting to do that on this new project.”

The new album will be released independently.

The group is currently in the process of selecting an album title, and they are requesting all their fans to submit their ideas to the group at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). The person who sends in the winning title will get a free ticket to HisSong’s annual homecoming. This year’s homecoming will feature HisSong, Karen Peck & New River, the Duvalls, and the Frosts. Winner will also receive a night’s hotel accommodation and a copy of the new CD.

HisSong will be releasing their final single from their previous album, Three, while finishing up recording the new album. “Closing Time” will go for adds to Southern Gospel radio soon.
