Life is Like a Box of What?

OK...SoGospelNews graciously invited me to be interviewed for a feature for this month's website articles! I was so happy and honored to be a part of it....I had alot of fun and got to think alot. Here is the interesting conclusion I have come to. Forrest Gump said "Life is Like A Box of Chocolates." I say...Ok Forrest, but more than that..."Life is really like a box of cereal!"

That's right...cereal! It can be so many different kinds depending on the day, depending on the week! I mean sometimes it is Honey NUT cheerios...Just crazy, but FUN! Sometimes it is like Muesli...completely foreign...like "what does that mean and why?" LOL! Sometimes it is like Corn Flakes....Full of corniness and/or flaky people (for me that is most often myself)! Some days it is just like Golden Grahams! Those are the best days...The days when God sends loving messages as He always does and we actually listen! I wonder how many days I choose to hear the sweet and patient voice of my Savior or how many days I grab the junk cereal instead. I need strength from God and I choose "Fruity Pebbles" instead of the Solid
Rock! WOW...I want to be yielding to the good food my Lord would have me to consume each day...His tender mercies, His goodness, His voice of wisdom, and so much more!
Ps 119:16 says- I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. I know the first ingredient in my morning needs to be His precious Word and our sweet and intimate conversation. So what are we all filling up on each day? I am going to try and ask myself that question often. Anyway, this is just some "food" for thought and the PUN was COMPLETELY INTENDED...LOL!

Ok...Now it is your turn...just for fun...describe your day using a cereal brand in the comments section...Ready, Set, GO!

Blessings!

My life is like a bowl of Cap'n Crunch... it "stays crunchy, even in milk." Plus, there's bloodthirsty pirates everywhere. All part of this complete breakfast.

I had "Life" yesterday... I didn't have life today. I wanted to have Bite Size Mini Wheats, but Momma always said not to open a new box until you finish the one that is open. I wish someone would take my "Life"...
