The Quicks - Nov 05
![]() Our Sunday School teacher always asks for a praise report before he begins the lesson. I know God has been good to me – every day – but my mind seems to go blank at that moment. I try to think of something specific, but rarely have anything to report. Reader Comments
I agree! I always try to tell folks, when I get the opportunity, to look for "That's HIM!" moments....
A "THM" is looking in the cupboard at home, and having to stare at it because there are so many choices, not because there is no choice...... when you unexpectedly recieve money to pay for those glasses...... when an offering is a bit better than you hoped for, because tyou knew the tank was empty...... It sure does make your day brighter when you can see the good things around you, plus, with practice, you will be looking at the brighter side of even bad things that happen, so they are still "That's HIM" moments! I love you guys. When I think of you, that is a THM! John

An Evangelist. LaVon Boatner, from Philadelphia, MS coined that phrase (Well actually, he credits Apostle Paul)
What he brought out, and how he presented that great message (which I listened to many, many times) literally changed my life, in the way I look at life. I'll get you a copy someday.

Dearest Sal: I really needed to hear that message. I was just dwelling on something very negative in my life just now, and I should be dwelling on my blessings. I see people daily dwelling on the bad things in their lives and paying for it spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Let's think about what a mighty God we serve and how we can be Christ to someone else today. Sissy
