The heartland is being saturated with the life-changing message of the gospel by the Hope For America Crusades. The events are Sponsored by the Horizon Foundation of Cape Girardeau, MO and churches that care. Crusades have already been held in DuQuoin, IL, Paducah, KY, and Cape Girardeau, MO and more are being slated for next year in other areas of the heartland. The event is drawing many people to Christ and challenging a sleeping church to revival.

Mixing nationally known speakers, great gospel music, and caring churches spreading the word, is a recipe for success in drawing and reaching people with the gospel. David Ring, Jerry Falwell, John Hagee, Ken Freeman, James Merritt, and former Green Bay Packer legend, Reggie White, are just a few of the speakers challenging crowds to come to Christ and bring revival back to America.

Gospel music is also a big part of the crusade. Sons of The Father, (Les, Chris, and Brent Snyder from West Frankfort, IL), have been the host gospel group for the last several events singing every night, leading the mass choirs, and worship time. The Snyder's have been traveling the nation for the last 13 years averaging 270 services a year, and are a part of Nick Bruno's Song Garden Label. Special musical guests have also been involved each night including: the Lesters, Karen Peck and New River, Marty Raybon (formerly of the country group Shenandoah), the Carolina Boys, Gold City, and many more.

The week is designed to assist area churches in crossing denominational lines to band together and make a unified effort to reach their city for Christ. "The cooperation of local churches is the key to the success of the crusades", says Donny Ford, Director for Hope For America Crusades. "Without pastors committing their people to come bringing lost friends and neighbors with them, the event wouldn't be nearly as successful". "We're excited about the potential of HFA and proud of the work that Jerry Lipps, founder of Horizon Foundation, and his family are doing to reach the world for Jesus".
