Adoration Quartet, based out of Goldsboro, North Carolina, is off to a great start with the release of What a Change. What a Change was produced by Wesley Pritchard - a producer who is known for producing custom projects from some of the industry's fastest rising artists. What a Change features a strong mix of cover tunes and original songs. The album features a strong band with players including Milton Smith, Jeremy Medkiff, Randy Miller, and more. The quartet starts things off nicely with the upbeat "Drink From Him" and continue to crank out a strong rendition of "His Tomb Is Empty Now". The contrasting solos on "What Ever You Need" between bass vocalist Chris Serlick and tenor Brian Routh make for a nice arrangement of the song. The Rebecca Peck & Lori Kelley-Woods cut "I've Been Revived" features a catchy hook coupled with strong vocals and outstanding performance from the session players. Vocals were produced by Wesley Pritchard - and he does a fantastic job making these guys sound like a traditional quartet while utilizing some progressive arrangements - most notably on cuts like "I've Been Revived" and "Jesus Really Cares." Group members Kyle Alfred and Greg Simpkins contributed three cuts on the album which are some of the brightest spots on the CD. Alfred's "Stepping Into the Light" and "Peace Through the Blood" are strong songs that show a lot of potential in Alfred as a songwriter. Simpkins' "Jesus Really Cares" is probably the strongest cut on the album with it's catchy hook and amazing vocal arrangement. With the right kind of promotion and touring schedule, Adoration Quartet could possibly be Southern Gospel's next great group. This album is definitely a step in the right direction for the quartet.

I ordered my copy of Adoration and it is fantastic. Every singer from the tenor to the bass are solid. Greg the pianist is great. The tenor voice is unique to say the least. This group is great and not rookies or up and comers in my book by any means. They all have strong ties from other groups they sang in, and they are polished and ready to go. The material is fresh and I love thier style.

Adoration Quartet's CD "What A Change" has been a blessing to me. I have attended several Adoration concerts this year. Brian Routh is a great tenor singer. He has truly been blessed with a great vocal style. The other members have done a great job as well. I pray that God will continue to bless this group as the new year approaches.
God Bless,
Misty

I've known Terry all his life and there's not a better person that I know of.He's always been a great singer, from the time he was just a teenager. In my book he's one of the greatest gospel singers out there today, his range is good and his christian life is beyond reproch. He came from a good family and a good background.I've been to their concerts and they rate up there with some of the greats, like the Goodmans, the Spears, and if you remmeber the Fla Boys.
