Mark Trammell Trio – This Time
![]() Producer: Steve Mauldin Reader Comments
This is the type of music the Mark Trammell Trio has had the ability to make from day one. I totally understand taking the budget approach initially until things get rolling, though.
I agree with James' 4 1/2 Star rating on _This Time_. Some real creativity went into this project and it shows...it's nice to see Trammell working with producer Steve Mauldin again, BTW. The songwriting is also top notch on this CD.

I first met Mark Trammell in the early '70s when he was singing with his brother Jerry. Mark has always been one of the classiest individuals in our business and quite possibly the best baritone singer of this era.
I am excited to hear this new project because it features two songs by my friend Kevin Womble, Keeper of the Keys and the title song, This Time. Both are great songs and should do well for the group. Keep up the good work boys. Gary O'Neal

Without a doubt the groups best CD thus far! I'm not sure what the first single is but I think "It's Time" and "It's The Blood" would do good on the charts.
Joseph is only featured on the song "It's The Blood", as James said. It's my favorite song on the album. Though I wish they gave Joseph at least one more song the whole CD is awesome. It really showcases Mark's and Eric's great voices...

This Time by the Mark Trammell Trio is an awsome piece of work, however I feel we have only scratched the surface of what remaines to be seen.Just listen to the blend and the energy all at once along with CLASSIC Mark trammell style in the strong message of I Needed to hear that today, only the beginning of what is yet to be heard.
