New Ground
Great vocals, awesome blend, superb arrangements, and quality production are earmarks of the latest project by New Ground. Consisting of Dale and Robbie Maxwell and David Owen, New Ground, a regional group from Scottsboro, Alabama, is one of the best of the best up and coming groups in Southern Gospel Music. And it all shows in this project. Songs like “Hands Scarred By The Nails” grip our hearts just thinking of the sacrifice that Jesus made for each of us. The smooth, easy-going “Beneath The Fountain” features Robbie. Then, David takes the lead on the upbeat, “God’s Promises Will Stand.” “He’s Coming” is an old convention style song that will get your toes tapping and hands clapping. Looking for some “Glory Bumps?” Well, get ready, they’re coming in “Out Of The Grave.” Next, Dottie Rambo’s great song, “Stand By The River” gets a New Ground treatment that features Dale. Then we are encouraged and reminded that we get to leave all our struggles on “This Side Of The Grave.” This project will be released in November, but already charting is the exciting “Oh What A Day.” It’s obvious that she knows Who she is singing about as Robbie sings from her heart about that day “When Jesus Passed By.” The last song on the project has also already hit the charts, and what closer it is. New Ground will leave you with your heart pounding, hands clapping, feet dancing, and wanting more, with “In Just A Little While.” One spin of this project won’t be your last. This is one great project by one great group! My personal favorites are “In Just A Little While,” “Out Of The Grave,” and “Stand By The River.”

They are wonderfun. I have loved "NEW GROUND" since the first time I heard them over 1- 1/2 years ago.
