We have had a lot of instrumental Christmas CD to review this year, but this is the first and only Saxophone instrumental. Normally you think of Saxophone CDs as “elevator” music, but I have never heard “elevator” music play3ed with such feeling and emotion.

The song selection is very nice, with familiar songs being eight of the ten songs recorded. The selections include Christmas classics such as “Silver Bells”, “The Christmas Song”, “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”, and “Winter Wonderland”. Also included are such familiar Christmas Carols as “What Child Is This” and “Do You Hear What I Hear”.

Probably my favorite song on the CD is the arrangement of “White Christmas.” Other song selections included on the recording are “This Christmas”, “Grown-up Christmas”, and “Breath Of Heaven.” If you are like me, you will find yourself singing along with the familiar tunes as you drive along in the car, or listen on the home stereo.

I highly recommend this unique instrumental Christmas CD.
