I'm looking forward to seeing this group together on stage again. This lineup WAS MMQ, in my opinion. The final MMQ lineup of Eric Phillips, Phillip Hughes, Cyle Cornish, and Scott Whitener was also a very good group, but this original lineup really had a special ability to connect with their audience. The Chris Roberts/Scott Whitener combination is what made MMQ greater than the sum of its parts. After Roberts left MMQ to be with his young children, the group seemed to be in a constant transition that never quite gelled.

I'm hoping they'll be able to recapture that combination of blend and energy on this tour.
