Dixie Echoes / The Inspirations - Rome, GA

Parnick Jennings has been a great promoter of gospel music in the North Georgia area for many years now. I remember about 10 years ago going to the Rome City Auditorium and seeing JD & the Stamps, The James Blackwood Quartet, and The Sons of Song and having to sit on the stairs of the balcony because the concert was standing room only. Many of us have been able to see the Statesmen, Jake Hess, Melody Boys, and several other groups in the North Georgia area that don't get out this way too often thanks to Mr. Jennings. Last night was one of the best nights of gospel music Mr. Jennings has promoted since some of those legends have passed on. These two groups are among the most very traditional quartets in the business.
